Available in Burgundy or Capuccino, The La Nordica Rosetta Maiolica wood burning cooker is a traditional Italian all rounder with its ample oven, hot plates and fire box. Whether heating your home or using the cooking facilities, this model compliments any traditional space or country kitchen.
The most striking feature of the Rosetta Maiolica stove is the traditional Italian majolica tiles which adorn the front and sides.
On this model, the fire box and oven space share an equal footing in terms of capacity, giving the Rosetta majolica a symetrical design. The fire emits a warming glow from the panoramic viewing glass whilst heating the oven in the right compartment.
The term majolica derives from the medieval name for the Island of Majorca, an important stop over for Italian trade ships during the Renaissance. The name came to refer to the Italian tin-glazed ceramics traded through the islands ports but has now come to refer to Italian earthernware in general. These tiles highlight the traditional outlook of la Nordica and provide a sumptuous and homely feel to your cooker.
