White glass fibre woven Stove Rope is suitable for doors and lids on solid fuel stoves and boilers. Clean away any old rope and remove any loose material from the locating channel (ie where you are going to be fitting the stove rope). Apply stove rope adhesive being careful to follow the instructions on the container. Press the stove rope firmly into the channel, then cut the stove rope with scissors to finish with an end to end butt joint. Allow at least 15 minutes setting time before closing the doors; please be advised that some glues take up to 24 hours to cure.
