This Rain Cowl for Flexible Flue Liner is ideal to be used with the Top Plate, Top Clamp and Top Insert system where a chimney pot is not present.
The Rain Cowl will offer protection for your system from the elements.
The base of the 5″ (125mm) Rain Cowl measures 5.8″ (145mm) in diameter and the base of the 6″ (150mm) measures 6.8″ (177mm) in diameter. This allows the Rain Cowl to sit over the top of your Flexible Flue Liner, not inside. It can then be fixed in place with the cement or mortar used to secure the Top Plate and Clamp.
This item is NOT designed to be used with any other flue system including Twin Wall or Vitreous Enamelled flue pipe.
