A flexible chimney liner is an essential component when installing a wood burning stove into an existing fireplace and chimney. Common issues such as poor draw, reduced heat output, tar leakage and smoke problems can often be resolved by re-lining the chimney with a suitable flexible flue liner. By creating a sealed flue system from the stove to the chimney terminal, the liner helps the stove operate safely, efficiently and to its full potential.
This flexible flue liner kit is designed for use with 8″ wood burning stoves and includes the key components required for an 8″ flexible liner installation.
Kit Includes:
- 8″ Single Wall Pipe To 8″ Liner Adaptor
- Notice Plate
- Required Length Of 8″ 904 Grade Twin-Skinned Flexible Flue Liner
- 8″ Top Plate
- 8″ Top Clamp
- 8″ Top Insert Sleeve for Installations without a Chimney Pot
Basic Installation Guidance:
Cement the top plate into position, pull the flexible liner through by approximately 100mm, insert the top insert sleeve, secure the clamp around the liner and build up the cement to hold everything firmly in place.
