500mm 1 Part Adjustable Pipe 4" (100mm) - Gloss Black
The 500mm 1 Part Adjustable Pipe (usable length 400mm) is designed to fit into an existing pipe or fitting it will slide into the female end and can be adjusted to achieve the desired Length. This item can be cut down but it is not advised, if the pipe is cut you must seal the exposed steel with high temp paint. This item comes with a clamp to secure the pipes together.
This high-quality pipe is constructed from single skin connecting flue system manufactured in zero carbon steel with powder vitreous enamel coating in a gloss black finish.
For safe installation, maintain a minimum 375mm distance from any combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard. Install with the smaller diameter end facing downward to keep condensate contained within the flue. The friction-fit joint design eliminates the need for sealants, but for added security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone. If cutting is required, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.
Designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, operating at temperatures up to 600°C. It serves as an essential connecting pipe between your appliance and a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Note that it should not be used to pass through combustible ceilings or walls.
