OER are multi-award winning British manufacturers of wood burning stoves based in Staffordshire. OER currently have won more awards than any other manufacturer and have over 36 years of experience in the industry.

The OER 8 is a contemporary widescreen stove with a large viewing window that offers a superb view of the 8kW firebox.

The OER 8 Multi Fuel stove has an impressive 75% heat efficiency and a heat output of 8kw. This stove is Defra approved for use in smoke controlled areas and is designated clean burning.  It has a 125mm outlet and as a Defra approved stove it is within the building regulations to remain in 125mm for the flue system, although it is still recommended that you increase to 150mm for your flue system.

Similar to the rest of the OER range this stove has a steel body and a cast iron door which is a great combination as the door radiates heat into the room and evens out peaks and troughs in temperature, allowing the stove to start heating the room quicker and respond faster to changes in the air vents to control the fire.

As a rough guide, this stove's output is suitable for a room measuring in the region of 21ft (L) X 21ft (W) X 8ft (H) non-open plan with average insulation properties.

Please note, flue pipe shown in image is not included.

Every OER stove carries the peace of mind of a 5-year guarantee against material and manufacturing defects on the stove body. Cast iron parts are guaranteed for 2 years and consumable components and glass parts are guaranteed for 1 year against material and manufacturing defects subject to the terms and conditions as specified in the guarantee document supplied with the product.

British manufacturer Olde Englande Reproductions (OER) was created by a cabinetmaker with a passion for quality and unique design over 36 years ago. All of their stoves models are available with two optional leg heights, magnetic handle options and enamel door colours. Choose from white, grey, red, black and duck egg blue enamel colours to suit your fireplace and home décor. Exclusive designs of multifuel stoves were supplied to fireplace and furniture showrooms throughout the UK and soon after, a loyal network of approved dealers led to a significant factory expansion. Trained craftsmen ensure the highest levels of quality and now OER hold over fifteen awards, the record for any UK Fireplace manufacturer, and is still a family owned and run operation.

Stove Glass Accidental Damage Cover

Replacing damaged stove glass is something most stove owners will be familiar with, be it by closing the door on a protruding log, over-tightening the glass retaining clips or the natural heat expansion of the door, chances are you have had to purchase replacement glass for your wood burning stove at least once.

By adding Glowing Embers' Accidental Damage Cover, you have peace of mind that the potentially costly process of cutting and shipping a replacement glass is covered for when those accidental breakages occur.

Terms & Conditions

Glass Protection covers you for cracked or smashed stove glass for the period of time that you select. We cover you for accidental breakage for any reason for the length of time you selected but doesn't cover for any consequential loss or installation costs. Installation is usually an easy process, and our team can talk you through it. To claim against this protection, simply send us an email prior to the expiration date (either 1 or two years from the purchase date, depending upon which option you pick) with a photo clearly showing your stove with the broken glass. We may require measurements or a template from you to cut the replacement glass accurately and your provision of this when required is conditional on our fulfilment of this protection. The protection covers you for one replacement only within the set period, additional breakages (outside of breakage on delivery which will be covered free of charge) will fall outside of this protection. This only covers flat glass cut by Glowing Embers and does not cover curved or printed glass.

Stove Fitting Kit

5" (125mm) Fitting Kit

Essential components for any stove installation into an existing chimney, this Fitting Kit for stoves with a 5" (125mm) diameter outlet collar includes an 800mm x 400mm Register Plate (Chimney Closure Plate), 5" Reducing Plate and a 1000mm length of leading brand Vitreous Enamelled Stove Pipe in 5" internal diameter.

Sited above the stove, the metal Register Plate sits on - or can be screwed up to - the 4 supplied brackets and features a pre-cut central hole (reduced to 5" diameter when used with the provided Reducing Plate) for the Stove Pipe to pass through, into the chimney cavity. This plate is easily cut to your required size and not only prevents debris or insulating granules from falling down the chimney, but also deflects heat rising from the stove into the room. The 1000mm length of leading brand Vitreous Enamelled Stove Pipe has a reduced male connection which must be fitted inside the outlet collar of the stove and sealed with our Vitcas or Kos Fire Cements, Envirograf Silicone Sealant or Heat Resistant Stove Rope.
