MAXIMUM USE OF ENERGY

Maximum use of heat due to densely spaced radiators and the wall of the insert made of high quality cast iron with a thickness of 8 mm. Increased heat exchange surface between the hot exhaust gases and the room due to the high flue. Combustion of fuel particles thanks to deflector, which extends the exhaust gas path. Increased efficiency of the insert through manual control of chimney draft by using the built-in damper. Manual control over the combustion process carried out by ash tray regulator.

SAFETY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL

Classic front of insert is equipped with a heat-resistant ceramics that can withstand temperatures up to 660°C. Decorative fence helps to maintain the tidiness and protects against falling out of wood.

CONVENIENT TO USE

The cold handle system which limits the risk of burns due to the possibility of removing it while burning. Ash drawer / ashtray, where the remains of burnt wood are gathered and grate for easy ash removal. Reduced soot deposition through a system of pure glass (air curtain).

Important note, European stoves require an additional Double Socket Adaptor in the relevant diameter for easy connection to standard single wall flue pipes. Option to purchase is available above.

Note also, this is not a multifuel stove.

This stove model's benefits include:

  • Advanced air wash system to assist in maintaining the glass window clear of the build up of soot through the use of specially placed vents to draw in air from the outside washing over the front of the glass
  • Viewing glass window on both sides of stove

The manufacturer grants a 5-year warranty from the moment of purchasing the stove. The buyer is obliged to read the stove’s instruction manual for its appropriate use which is confirmed by an entry in the warranty card at the time of warranty registration. In the case of a complaint, the user of the stove is obliged to follow the appropriate complaints’ procedure and be able to submit a copy of the completed warranty card and proof of purchase if requested. Submitting this documentation is necessary to resolve any claims. Volsom Ltd (Glowing Embers) will be more than happy to assist customers in this regard and provide guidance and support throughout any warranty claim. Consideration of the complaint will be made within 14 days from the date of its submission. Any modifications or physical design changes of the stove does invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.

The warranty covers all cast iron cast elements, movable elements of the control mechanisms of the flue shield and the comb of the ash box cover, grate and fireplace seals for 1 year from the moment of purchasing the stove. Some ceramic items are covered for a period of 2 years from the moment of purchasing the stove.

The warranty does not cover vermiculite, some heat-resistant ceramics (resistant to temperatures up to 800 ° C), all defects resulting from non-observance of the provisions of the operating instructions, in particular regarding the fuel and the kindling used, any defects caused during transport from the distributor to the customer, any defects caused during installation and start-up of the stove, damages resulting from thermal overloads of the chimney liner (related to the operation of the stove not in accordance with the provisions of the operating instructions).

In addition, any damage caused due to improper handling, storage, improper maintenance, inconsistent with the conditions specified in the operating instructions and due to other reasons not attributable to the manufacturer, will void the warranty if the damage contributed to the quality and performance changes relating to the stove’s operation.

ADVISORY:

It is important for our customers to note that the use of coal or other inappropriate fuels would lead to the invalidation of the warranty. Any action requested by the customer under the terms of the warranty would require a signature of declaration confirming that only wood has been used. The manufacturer (or person or organisation approved by the manufacturer to carry out any repairs) reserves the right to examine residue in the stove to confirm this. In such an instance where other fuels have been detected as being used within the stove, the customer is obliged to cover all costs related to the repair of the stove and/or replacement of parts; which includes the cost of labour.
