Vitreous Enamelled Special Offer

Connection

Vitreous Enamelled flue parts have a male connection to push fit inside the pipe or stove outlet below to ensure deposits within the pipes run down into the stove and do not escape. The male connection is always fitted facing downwards as pictured. It is advisable to seal all single wall joints with a suitable high temperature sealant. It is safe to cut single wall flue down to size for a perfect fit.

Vitreous Enamelled flue is constructed from laser welded steel. These pipes are not insulated.

Approvals

All single wall flue supplied by Glowing Embers is fully CE approved for installation in compliance with UK building regulations.

Regulations

Designed for internal use, it is against regulations to pass single wall flue through any surfaces due to the heat emitted from the pipe. The safe clearance to combustibles is three times the diameter of the flue or one and a half times the diameter to non-combustibles. It is advised to limit a run of single wall flue to 2000mm to prevent the loss of heat through the pipe which can lead to flue gases dropping. Please see our Technical Information section for easy to understand guides for all the Building Regulations involved with stoves and flues.

For further information on using Vitreous Enamelled flue in your system, please see our Chimney Installations page or Non-Chimney Installs section.

Finance FAQ's

What is the process?

Once you have selected the V12 Interest Free Finance option at checkout, you will be directed to V12's secure site to complete a very short application process. You will get an instant answer regarding your application and be able to electronically sign the application to complete it. The final stage, once you have signed the agreement, is that a member of our team will give you a call to take the payment of the 10% deposit which needs to be paid in advance. Once this is paid, we will send you your goods - as simple as that.

What happens is my application is refused?

There are a number of reasons that an application might be turned down, including mis-typing and mis-entering details on the application form. You are able to appeal the decision and get more information and advice by contacting V12 on: 02920 468916 or underwriting@v12finance.com.

How long will it take to apply?

It usually only takes a matter of minutes to complete the form and in most cases a decision is instant and you can electronically sign the agreement.

Can I call you to place an order and pay by Finance?

Yes, please do give us a call, we can go through most of the application process with you, process the deposit and the order. The only part you have to do directly is electronically sign the agreement which can be done very quickly via email.
